Many thoughts and prayers are with Freda and the MacIntyre family from the many, many nieces and nephews throughout the province and the country.
Freda’s faith was a guiding light throughout her life. The congregation knew her as a long-standing member of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, as an Elder, leader of the Ladies Guild and participant of Bible study groups and numerous church functions/committees. Every summer was spent “out on the Mira” surrounded by family and friends. Everyone was welcomed at the bungalow on MacIntyre Drive.
Freda’s love of family and friends was evident to all who met her or who joined her for a swim on the beautiful Mira River. A woman of courage, strength and faith, Freda cared for others until the end.
Her family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the VG 3A MSICU for their care, support and compassion in her final days.
