Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 in his 89th year. Predeceased by wife Belinda (2002). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son Douglas (Renette) Noseworthy of St. John’s; two grandchildren: Diane (Bill) Smallman of Barrie, ON, and Steven (Kelly) Noseworthy of St. John’s; four great-grandchildren: Jacob and Cassandra Smallman, Madison and Mitchell Noseworthy; special friend Heather Smith; brother Gerry Noseworthy and sister-in-law Betty Noseworthy, as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, Sept. 12th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s memory to the S.P.C.A. or to a Charity of One’s Choice.
