KINNEY, Mildred Elizabeth Ann – 71, Yarmouth Bar, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born November 29, 1939 in Forest Glen, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Bertha (Hanf) Brittain. Mildred worked in the housekeeping department at Yarmouth Regional Hospital for 25 years. She enjoyed reading, going to the camp, sitting on the swing and playing cards. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William D. Kinney, as well as by her children, Robert (Marie) Boudreau, Malcolm (Rose Blanchard) Boudreau, Bertha (John) Rodgerson, Marlene (Kelvin) Nickerson, William “Billy” Kinney, John (Jody Saulnier) Kinney, as well as by eight grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Roberta Ima Patey, Mary Cameron, Russell (Greta) Brittain, Prescott (Wilma) Brittain, Bertha (Ron) Dearman. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Malcolm Brittain, Burpee Brittain, Eva Brittain, Viola Grey, Viva Beals, Pauline Stevens, Edger “Sammy” Brittain. In accordance with Mildred’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth, and there was no visitation or funeral service.
