At the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, of Rejeanne Doucette of Harper Road, aged 61 years. Beloved wife of Gerry Doucette. She was born in Quebec on April 27, 1950, the daughter of Rachel (nee Fortin) and the late William Harrisson of St. Thomas de Charbourt, Que. Cherished mother to Elvis (Alison) Doucette, Calgary, Alta.; Julie (Dennis) LeBlanc, Fredericton, N.B.; and Michelle (Corey) Gaudet, Alberton. Loving grandmother to Isaac, Benjamin and Daniel Doucette; Caleb, Micah, Levi and Lauren LeBlanc; Keegan and Ellie Gaudet. Dear sister of Rejean (Raymonde), Linda (Michel) Courcy of Quebec; Rosane (Roger) Houle, Normen (Jackie) of Alberta; Adorelle, Clarence (Gail), Clement and Michelle (Ron) all of Ontario. She was predeceased by her father William. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, for visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral at the Centre Acadien de Prince-Ouest (French School), DeBlois, on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m. Interment to follow in the Rosebank Gospel Hall Cemetery.
