Albert "Bud" Ozark
OZARK, ALBERT "BUD" - Albert "Bud" Ozark of Craigs Flat passed away at the Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on September 11, 2011. Born in Aroostook, NB, on May 22, 1927, he was the son of the late Albert Sr. and Nellie (Tatlock) Ozark. Bud leaves behind his wife Vivian (Jones) Ozark; his son Albert "Bud" Ozark Jr. (Tracy) of McLeod Hill, NB; sisters Louise Hamilton of Houlton, ME, Avis Weststrip (Bernie) of Myrtle Creek, OR; and his grandson Colin Ozark of McLeod Hill, NB. He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter Heather Lee Ozark. Bud was a member of the Benjamin Masonic Lodge in Perth-Andover and was also a Shriner. He served as the International Director of Canada for the Lions Club. He was known by many as "Skipper". He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was very proud of his grandson, Colin Ozark.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Interment will be Forest Glen Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Kintore Recreation Center. For those who wish, donations to the Oncology Dept. of the Saint John Regional Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
