MacNEIL, FRANCINE - The death of Francine Joanne (Arsenault) MacNeil, loving wife of Stephen MacNeil, occurred on September 9, 2011at Bobby’s Hope Hospice, Saint John N.B. Born in Moncton on January 31, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Ida (Gautreau) Arsenault of Shediac. She is survived by her three daughters Christina (Scott) Stevens of Niagara Ont., Kim (James) Vienneau of Rothesay and Angela MacNeil of Saint John; three grandchildren Emily, Joshua and Cooper. Five sisters Jeanne Martin, Cecile (Jean-Paul) Gallant, Angela (Olivier) Boudreau, Pauline (Normand) Mallet and Linda Arsenault, all of Shediac. Three brothers Joseph (Janet) Arsenault, Shediac, Ronald (Jeannine) Arsenault, Shediac and Bernie (Sylvia) Arsenault of Castleton Ont. Francine will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Francine was also predeceased by two sisters Lorraine Brownell, Muriel Arsenault, three brothers, Roger Arsenault, Paul Arsenault and Jean-Robert (Chico) Arsenault.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Saint John. The family would like to thank Richard and Flo McGinnis as well as the staff at Bobby’s Hope Hospice for the love and compassion shown to Francine during her stay.
