SAUNDERS, EDGAR "EDDIE" - The death of Edgar “Eddie” Francis Saunders husband of Pauline (Clouston) Saunders of Lower Derby, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the 82. Born Kirkwood, NB, Eddie was the son of the late Frank and Mary “Jane” (Carnahan) Saunders. Eddie was retired from Repap Paper Mill as a pipe fitter. Eddie is survived by on sister: Mary Hansen (Ralph) of Miramichi, NB and several nieces and nephews. Eddie is predeceased by two sons: Kevin and Robert Keith, one sister: Connie and four brothers: Roy, Berton, Bill and Alex.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Monday from 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 2 PM from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Millerton with Father Laskey officiating. Burial will follow in the Saunders Cemetery. Eddie’s memory donations may be made to the Saunders Cemetery, NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
