Joan Bernice Vincent
(Nee Drover)
With our hearts full of wonderful memories, we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of our dear mother, sister, auntie and friend, Joan Bernice Vincent (nee Drover) on Thursday, September 8th, 2011 in Brampton, ON at the age of 50 years. Joan was the youngest child of Herb (1908-1971) and Mae (1920 - 2006). She grew up in Corner Brook, NL where she met the love of her life Todd Vincent. Marrying him and having their two wonderful children Corrine and TJ, they were the best accomplishments in her life. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 15th at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Major Raymond Janes officiating. Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday and Wednesday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
You Can Shed Tears
You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all she left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her, or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she’s gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she’d want:
SMILE, OPEN YOUR EYES, LOVE AND GO ON!!
