1947 - 2009

The friends of Astrid Lawrence regret to announce her sudden passing. Born March 29, 1947 in Vancouver but a long time resident of Kamloops.

Astrid is survived by cousins Shirley Green and Donna Porter of Alberta and Sheila Ajltin of Montreal.

She will be remembered for her friendship, helpfulness and generosity of her time. Astrid was a jeweler, a Healing Touch practitioner, a member of Pineridge Golf Club and long time member of the Kamloops Tennis Association as a player, racquet stringer and volunteer. Astrid was an active member of the Canadian Cancer Society, a drummer with the Djembe Django group and a member of the Garden Club. She will be greatly missed by her many friends.

At Astrid's request no formal service will be held. However, a gathering to honour her will be held at Heritage House on Sunday, October 18th from 2:00 to 4:00PM.
