Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, age 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1988. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Joyce (Butch) Churchill and Carol McDonald (Pat deceased); five grandchildren: Colleen (Scott) Rogers, Jennifer Churchill (fiance Ken Taylor), Julie (Darren) Stapleton, Bobbi (Sean) Ryan, and Stephen Churchill; six great-grandchildren: Robert, Katie, Alex, and Mitchell Rogers, Bret Ryan, Zachary and Alexis Stapleton. Special niece Gail Goodyear. Sisters-in-law: Grace Mitchell, Agnes Collins and Effie Churchill; special longtime friend Ada Littlejohn; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Tuesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line.
