McINTYRE, Duane Allen “Dewey” — 28, Three Mile Plains, Hants Co., passed away August 1, 2011. Born October 28, 1982 in Windsor, Duane enjoyed spending time with family at home, friends and playing with children. Duane made his living operating heavy machinery. He could always make you smile and always had something funny to say. He will be missed by his family, Holly Dexter, Hayley and Dawson; his mother Suzanne; sister, Stephanie McIntyre; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Fred Burns and stepfather, Gordon Hennigar. Arrangements for cremation was entrusted to Lohnes-DeMont Funeral and Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317), where visitation was held Saturday, August 6, from 6-8 p.m. A service celebrating Duane’s life was held 4 p.m. Sunday, August 7, in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Jeffrey White officiating. Interment took place in Loyal Hill Cemetery, Summerville. Following the interment, everyone was invited to attend a time of fellowship at 251 Mountain Road, Three Mile Plains.
