Suddenly, at the home of his caregiver's, Wendell and Shelley Ellis, on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, of John Alfred Furlong of Springfield West, aged 74, husband of the late Elsie MacEachern. Born in Amherst, N.S. on Aug. 8, 1937, son of the late Claude and Wilna (Wood) Furlong. Predeceased by his wife, parents and sister Pearl Ann Whitner. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with a graveside service to be held Friday at Brae United Church Cemetery at 10 a.m. In memory of John, donations to Brae United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
