CUMMINS, WILLIAM E. - William E. "Bill" Cummins, 83, passed away on Tuesday, September 13th, 2011. Born in Moncton, May 25th, 1928 he was the son of the late Bertha E. (Hope) and William A. Cummins. Bill retired from The Dept of Justice following many years of service. He played sports in his younger years and still enjoyed watching them. He is survived by his son Larry Cummins (Jacquline) of Fredericton, granddaughter Malarry, sisters Shirley Hopper, Carol Brine (Joseph) as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Bill was predeceased by his wife Lillian (Proctor) in 1990, a sister Marjorie, and brothers Bob and Jack.
In keeping with Bill's wishes the will be no visitation. All are welcome to a graveside service to held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 16th, at 11:00 am. If desired, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, or The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation.
