THORNE, Allan S. – Passed peacefully away at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican on Thursday, December 4, 2008, Allan S. Thorne of Brownsdale, aged 78 years. Retired teacher and member of White Lily R.B.P. #1201 and Gushue L.O.L. #226. Predeceased by parents, William and Eva, brother Bill and infant sister. Leaving to mourn: wife, Ellen; two sons: Allan (Lola), Fort McMurray, AB and Malcolm (Jennifer), Portage La Prairie, MB; daughter, Susanne (Shawn) Harris, Paradise; two grandchildren: Christopher and Brendan, Fort McMurray, AB; brother, Chester (Evelyn), Brownsdale; sister -in-law Norma Thorne, St. John’s,rnmother-in-law, Mildred Brown, Musgravetown; sisters-in-law: Shirley Hall, Musgravetown, Elizabeth (Edward) Svendsen, BC, Rowena Brown, Musgravetown; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican.
