Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on September 14, 2011, Frank Herridge, aged 85 years. Predeceased by his parents: Rubin and Bertha; sisters: Gladys and Aletha; and brother, Myril. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, his loving wife of 66 years, Biney (nee Thornhill); son, Jimmy (Ollie); daughters: Catherine Murphy (Robert) and Karen Earles (Darrell); five grandchildren: Michelle Dinn (Ken), Stacey Cleary (Brian), Stephen Herridge (Wendy), Janice Courtney (Craig), and Craig Murphy (Nancy); eleven great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kayla, Laura, Faith, Zachary, Nicholas, Joshua, Emma, Matthew, Kyle, and BJ; brother, Hughie (Janie); brother-in-law, Archie Thornhill (Winnie) and special nephew, Scottie; sister-in-law, Winnie Herridge; also leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends - including one very dear special friend, Clara Kilfoy. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, September 15, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and on Friday, September 16, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Cowan Heights United Church on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., with cremation to follow.
