Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, September 13th, 2011, at the age of 81. John is predeceased by his parents John and Ellen O’Neill, his siblings Lawrence (Ester), Edward, Francis, Peter, Patrick, Anne, Mary (Robert Collins) and his wife’s parents Captain Clarence and Eva Fiander. John leaves with lasting love and treasured memories his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth; his sons Clarence (Roxanne) and Kenneth (Pamela); precious granddaughter Kendra O’Neill; his sister Katherine Greeley (Ernest); sisters-in-law Theresa O’Neill and Shirley Fiander; brother-in-law Robert Fiander (Alice); as well as a number of other loving relatives and friends. The family expresses a heartfelt thank you to the Hoyles North One team for their professionalism, care and compassion while John was in their care. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road.Visitation Wednesday September 14th from 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday September 15th from 10 a.m - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Friday, September 16th at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Rd. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in John’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
