KNOWLES, SCOTT - Mr. Scott Knowles of King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Toronto, ON at the age of 31. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of Stan and Jean Knowles. As well as being a Pharmacist himself, he was the President of the New Brunswick Pharmacists Association, member of the Rotary Club of Newcastle, served on the National Advisory Board for TEVA pharmaceuticals and was involved in the annual Miramichi Rock ‘n Roll Festival. He enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, boating, golfing, and fishing and loved the great outdoors. Besides his parents, Scott is survived by his special friend, Tara Allison, his sister, Colleen Knowles of Douglastown, NB, his brother, Jeff Knowles of Bridgetown, NS and his aunt, Wendy (Kirby) Williston of Regina, SK.
Mr. Scott Knowles is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Highway, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 1pm at St James & St John United Church with Reverend John Fraser officiating. In Scott’s memory, donations made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada or St James and St John’s United Church would be appreciated by the family.
