It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Thomas Mercer announces his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his two sons: Brad of Bedford, NS, Scott (Jennifer) of Calgary, AB, former wife Ann Mercer, brothers: Don, Gerald (Margaret), sisters: May Goose, Sylvia (Gary) and Marina, also a circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by parents: Thomas and Daisy Mercer, and brother Boyd. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday September 16, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11 A.M. with Reverend Marylyn Avery Officiating. Interment to follow at Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
