STEEVES, SUSAN H. - Susan H. Steeves, 57, of Lower Coverdale, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday September 14, 2011. Born in Rexton, she was the daughter of Jean (Russell) Steeves of Riverview and the late Eldon Steeves. Susan was the former General Manager of Tantramar Chevrolet in Amherst, NS and attended St. Paul’s United Church, Riverview. She graduated from Acadia University as a Dietician, was a member of the Canadian Dieticians Association and in her younger years, worked in Australia and travelled the world. Susan enjoyed four wheeling with her husband, spending time at the family cottage in Alma and being with her family and friends. In addition to her mother, Jean, Susan will be sadly missed by her husband of 22 years, Robert “Bob” Steeves; brother, Doug Steeves (Su-Ann), Lower Coverdale and sister, Anne Cruickshank (Murray), Allison; father-in-law, Robert Steeves, Edgett’s Landing; sister-in-law, Andrea Buckingham (Fraser), Greensborough; nephews, Trevor, Christopher, Michael, David; nieces, Erin, Lindsey, Katie; as well as several other extended family members. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Bertha (Mole) Steeves.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday September 17, 2011, 11:00 am, Rev. Steve Berube officiating. Refreshments in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Edgett’s Landing.
