POIRIER, YVONNE - 1920 - 2011 - Yvonne Poirier, 91, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont University Center Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011. She was married to the late Omer Poirier (1995). Born in Adamsville on June 13th, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Calixte and the late Geneviève (Jaillet) LeBlanc. She will be sadly missed by her two children; Andréa Bastarache (Elmo) of Bouctouche and Ronald (Alice) of Saint-Edouard de Kent, her four grandchildren, Elda, Elmo Jr., Denis and Annette, and her four great grandchildren; Sylvie, Stéphane, Jérémie and Allison. She also leaves to mourn one brother Camille (Bertha) of Saint-Maurice de Kent and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one grandson Maurice (1968), one granddaughter Ella (1992), three sisters, Cécile, Adrienne, Elda, and three brothers; Arthur, Edgar, Adelard.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Friday, September 16th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Saturday September 17th, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery. In Yvonne’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Foundation, Cardiology Unit.
