MacAdams, Constance Rosetta, 73, of Sandy Point, Shelburne County, passed away in the QEII Hospital, Halifax, on Sunday, September 11, 2011. Born in Sandy Point, she was a daughter of the late Evelyn Faye. Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very devoted to her late grandparents, Annie and Richard Faye, by whom she was raised. She babysat many children over a span of twenty years and these children had a special place in her heart. She was an avid bingo and dart player and enjoyed doing needlework and baking. She is survived by her husband, Raymond “Gene”, Sandy Point; son, Raymond “Junior” (Sheila); Darlene (David) Pask, Pictou; brother, Richard (Anne) Seaman, Dartmouth; grandson, Christopher, South Burlington; great grandson, Benjamin. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne, with Rev. Ed. Trevors officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetic Association.
