MUISE, M. Blanche – 82, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, and formerly of Marsha Avenue, Yarmouth, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 1, 1928 in Eel Brook, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mathilda (DeViller) Surette. Blanche was a homemaker who loved cooking, having been a restaurant worker in her earlier years. She is survived by her children, Betty Muise and Harold (Esther) Muise, both of Yarmouth; Diane Muise, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, as well as grandchildren, Angela, Vince, Ryan, Amanda; great grandchildren, Jenna, Layla, June. Also surviving are sisters, Gertie Devenney and Evelyn Williams, both of Dartmouth, and brothers, Paul Surette, Ontario and Pete Surette, Jeddore. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Forestal and siblings, Margaret, Marion, Noella, Anne, John and Frances. Visitation will take place from 7-9 Friday, September 23, with prayers at 8 p.m. at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 24, at 10 a.m. at Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
