It is with sadness that the family of the late Eugene Patrick Kelly announce his passing at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on September 13, 2011, at the age of 63. Eugene was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the United Association Local 740. He retired as a Pipe Fitter in 2002. Eugene was predeceased by his parents, Frederick Kelly and Hetty Kelly (Bernard). Left with fond and loving memories are his loving wife Mari; sons, Eugene(Charlene) of NB, Terry (Darci) of Calgary, AB, and Jamie (Vanessa) of Ft. McMurray, AB; and daughter, Jodi (Brian) Dodge of Mount Pearl, NL. Also left to mourn are his brothers, Ron (Lorraine); Kevin; and Chris (Diane); sisters, Shirley Jesso and Bernadette (Gerard) Whalen; grandchildren, Noah, Adam, Joshua, Dakota, Shaye, Jake, Jackson, Mackenzie and Sam; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Father Morris at the Sacred Heart RC Church in Bishop’s Falls. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eugene Kelly, Jamie Kelly, Gerard Whalen, Ron Kelly, Kevin Kelly and Chris Kelly. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
