BOUCHER, BEN JOSEPH - The death of Ben Joseph Boucher occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 2011. Born in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Beatrice (Daigle) Boucher and beloved husband of Donna (Perry) Boucher. Ben was very involved in his community always willing to lend a helping hand when someone had a need. He was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, as well as the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed working at TV bingo as well as playing Bingo on Monday nights. He loved teasing people and making them laugh. He never complained about his illness or had a negative word to say. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Survived by his loving wife, Donna; one sister, Eva Cormier of Minto, NB; two brothers, Ernest Boucher (Linda) of Minto and Laurie Boucher (Ursula ) of Toronto, ON; sisters-in-law, Margaret Madore (Joe) of Minto, and Theresa Barton (Danny) of Noonan and Mary Perry of Minto; brothers-in-law, Melvin Perry (Velvet) of Maugerville, and Thomas Perry (Mary) of Beresford and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Minto Funeral Home on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Monday, September 19th, 2011 at 11:00am. Father Paul Bebodu will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Bridgets Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
