MacPHEE, ADA K. - Ada K. MacPhee, 97, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly of Lakeview Tower, Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday September 18, 2011. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Daisy (Muscutt) Johnstone. Ada was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church and former member of the Chartersville Women’s Institute. She enjoyed reading, knitting, travelling with her late husband and spending quality time with her family. Ada will be sadly missed by her daughter, Judi Kervin (Earl) of Riverview; son, Maurice “Sonny” (Emma) of Riverview; grand daughter, Nancy MacPhee; sister, Daisy Wickens of Amherst, NS; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Maurice (1991) and sister, Jean.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday from 4 to 7pm. Funeral Service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 11:00am. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
