James Elmer (Ick) Gale
We, the family of the late Elmer Gale would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our family and friends for your kind expressions of sympathy and support during this difficult time in our lives. Thank you for the visits to our homes, gifts of food, donated memorials, sympathy cards, flowers, monetary gifts, phone calls, on line condolences and prayers. For those who spent time with us at the funeral home and attended the funeral service, thank-you. Sincere thanks to Dr. Phil Smith and Dr. Rollie Genge, your care and compassion will not be forgotten. We would also like to thank the staff at the Vitcoria County Memorial Hospital and the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the care our father received during his illness. To the Reverend Glen Kent, organist David Murray, St. Johns Anglican choir, lay readers, soloist Lisa Penny, readers Reid Moore and Yvonne Ferguson: All of you together left us with an overwhelming feeling of peace and contentment during the celebration of Dad's life. Thank you to the pallbearers, son in laws Glen Quirk, Myers Boutilier, Donald McCarthy, Peter Gouthro, long time friends Donald Fiander and Joe Reashore. Thank you also to the members of St. John's Anglican Church for the wonderful reception that followed the service. We gratefully acknowledged the staff of W.J. Dooley's Funeral Home for their compassion, professionalism and dignity shown during our loss. To each and everyone that comforted us during this heartbreaking time we will be forever grateful.
