Hodder, Tammy Sue – 40, of New Minas, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 4, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter the late Eleanor (Walker) Hodder, and Walter and Becky (Morash) Hodder. Tammy will be remembered for all the laughter and the joy she brought to everyone. She will be sadly missed by her parents; sisters Angie Hodder, North Alton; Tracey Sherwood, Calgary; uncle Donald Walker, New Ross; aunt Sally Walker, New Ross; nieces Shelby Hodder, North Alton; Kalee Young, Calgary; cousins Barbara Hiltz, New Ross; and Daniel Walker, Calgary; and her close friend Blaine Huntley, Kentville. A funeral memorial service was held at the Kentville United Baptist Church on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11:00 am with Reverend Doctor John McNally officiating. Interment took place in the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, New Ross. Donations in Tammy’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
