The passing of Elaine Elizabeth Amirault of Fredericton, N.B., wife of the late Raymond Amirault, occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 30, 1917, in Summerside, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Nettie (Gallant) Gallant. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr., on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Theresa’s Parish on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
