RICHARD, EMERIE - 1920 - 2011 - Emerie Richard, 91, of Villa Maria Inc., Saint-Louis de Kent and formerly of Acadieville passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria on Sunday, September 18th, 2011. He was married to the late Marguerite (Maillet) Richard (2010). Born in Acadieville on January 25th, 1920, he was the son of the late Jacques and the late Régina (Vautour) Richard. Emerie was a WWII veteran, and a 3rd degree K of C Council 8341 Acadiville. He will be sadly missed by his five children; Régina Arseneault (Claude) of Irishtown, Jacqueline Manuel (Léonce) of Acadieville, Jean-Paul (Martha) of Grande-Digue, Alonzo (Patricia) of Dieppe, and Donald (Ginette) of Barachois, his ten grandchildren, and twelve great grand children. He also leaves to mourn his adoptive brothers and sisters of the Urbain Vautour family, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one grand-daughter, Nadine, one sister Mina and one brother Emile.
Visitations will be held at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Acadieville on Monday September 19th, 2011 from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Acadieville Church on Tuesday September 20th, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
