COLFORD, GRACE CATHERINE - The passing of Grace Catherine Colford of Fredericton, NB, wife of Peter Colford, occurred on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 17, 1931 in Weaver Siding, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Esther (Colford) Veno. In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by her son, Dale Veno (Sharon); daughters, Cindy Thurlow (Stephen) and Wanda Moulaisson; three grandchildren, April Gorman (Mark), Jennifer and Jessica Moulaisson; sister, Leona Sutherland (Ben) and brother, Frank Veno (June). Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Helen O’Donnell and Evelyn Tucker and brother, Ralph Veno.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11 am with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the New Brunswick Lung Association.
