CONNOLLY, Edmund (Ted) - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family, at the Health Sciences Centre on December 6, 2008, Edmund James (Ted) Connolly, age 80. Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2006, brothers Bill, Jerry and Frank, and sister Mary. Leaving to mourn, his sisters, Margaret (Jim) Byrne, Madeline Insalaco, Newbury Port, USA, Geraldine Haring, Joan (Tom) O'Reilly, and Maureen (Ray) Whalen, and brother Pat (Agnes), Brooklyn, NY. Also leaving to mourn, a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends as well as special neighbour, Tom Fagan of Grand Falls-Windsor. Ted loved the outdoors and was an avid Salmon fisherman. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and worked with CN, until his retirement in 1984. He lived in Grand Falls until May, 2006, when he moved to St. John's.
