September 3, 1928 - September 18, 2011. Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville. Leaving to mourn his wife Joan; children: Sandy (Margaret), Johnny (Irene), Jeanette (John), Peter, Ralph (Jacquie), Stephanie (Gerry) and Gerri Lynn (Darrell); brother Gerald (Rosalie); 1st Cousin Vida Trickett; brother-in-law Augus Strong (Winnie); sisters-in-law: Lorna MacDonald (Vaughan) and Elizabeth Muller, special friends Bruce Davis (Trudy) and Glenys Penney; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and a very large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Burgoynes Cove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
