Lorraine Frances Pierce

Lorraine Frances Pierce (formerly Wilson, nee Senger), 50, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away at the Royal Alexander Hospital, on September 18th, 2011. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, to Edward and Frances (Habekost) Senger, Lorraine spent much of her adult life in Colchester County, Nova Scotia, where she raised her family and spent many years as a school bus driver with Chignecto-Central Regional School Board. Lori returned to Edmonton in 2005, where she reunited with and married Patrick Allen Pierce, her first love. Lori was predeceased by her daughter Mesia Louise (in infancy), father Edward Senger, sister Carol, brother Gerry, and nephews Jonathan and Rodney. Lori is survived by her husband, daughters Desarai (Brad) Mosher, Chelsea Wilson (Trevor Mosher), and grandchildren, Kaiden and Kennedy . Lori is also survived by her mother, Frances (Habekost) Senger, sister Arlene Tough, brother Michael Senger, several nieces and nephews.
Lori was dearly loved by her family and friends. Her creativity, spirituality, and zest for life were contagious. Knowing her time was near, Lori made every effort to show all of the love she could to her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends, travelling to Italy, Nova Scotia, and the mountains of Alberta with family and friends before returning home to spend her final days in the loving care of her husband. There will be no service, by Lori’s request. Donations in Lori’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
