WALKER RITCHIE, Spencer Heidi – Aylesford. Infant daughter of Tyler Ritchie and Crystal Walker, Aylesford passed away Monday September 5, 2011 in the NICU at The IWK Health Centre, Halifax. Besides her parents, Spencer is survived by and will be sadly missed by her brother Austin; paternal grandparents Wayne and Jerry (Banks) Ritchie; maternal grandparents Allen and Cheryl (Anderson) Huntley; maternal great grandparents Kathleen Anderson, Vernon and Anna Huntley; aunts Roxann Ritchie, Tracy Ritchie, Tara Ritchie, Amanda Walker; uncles Scott Walker, Steven Walker, and Scott Connolly. A visitation for family and close friends was held from 8-9 p.m. Thursday September 8, in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick. A private graveside funeral took place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 10, in the United Church Cemetery, Aylesford with the Reverend Brenda Nesbitt officiating. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations being made in Spencer’s memory to the Halifax Haven Guest Home.
