It is with great sadness that the family of the late Josephine Doucette announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 at the age of 102 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Ralph (Judy) Doucette of Florida, USA, Hilton (Joan) Doucette of Alberta, one daughter, Ursula (Amos) Baldwin of Arizona, USA, one brother, Andrew (Rose) Benoit of Grand Falls, one sister, Helena Churchill of St. John’s, 32 grandchildren and many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Doucette and four sons: Francis, Anselm, Larry and Isaac. Friends may call at St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s on Thursday, September 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
