Kellough, John Robert – 83, Valley passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Albert and Marian (Cranton) Kellough. John worked for CN Rail for many years and also with the Truro Police Force. He was Past Master of Masonic Lodge #43 A.F. & A.M., Bible Hill, a member of the Shriners and a former member of the Truro Fire Brigade. He is survived by his wife, Joan (MacKay), Valley; cousins, Douglas (Marian) Kellough, Shirley (Pat) Shannon; nieces and nephews. Masonic Lodge #43, A.F. & A.M., Bible Hill will hold a tribute service Thursday, September 22 at 6:45 pm followed by visitation from 7-9 pm with funeral service on Friday, September 23 at 2 pm, all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, Rev. Mary White officiating. Interment in Watson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley United Church, Watson Cemetery or a charity of choice.
