Justin Elmer Russell Green, 23 of Pictou, passed away suddenly at home on September 20, 2011.
Born May 2, 1988 in New Glasgow, he was a son of Russell Green, Stellarton, and Bernadette (Cameron) Morrison and a step-son of Kenny Morrison, Pictou.
Justin will be remembered for his great smile, contagious laugh, sense of humour and was a joy to be around. He enjoyed working with computers and had a passion for music, having been an amazing self taught guitar player. Justin had a soft spot for animals, loved children, and was a loving uncle to his eight nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents he is survived by his older sisters, Elissa (Jeff) Cramp, Alberta; Tasha Green, Stellarton; and Jami-Leigh Green, Halifax; maternal grandparents, Edna (George) Laffin, New Glasgow; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Elmer Cameron, paternal grandparents Carl and June Green, step-brothers, Jason and Sean Morrison.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with Father Donald Boudreau presiding. Burial of ashes will follow in the Christ the King Cemetery, Trenton.
Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Justin may be made to the PIctou County SPCA or to a charity of one’s choice.
