Robert Stanley “Stan” GILES
November 2, 1919 – September 18, 2011

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Stan Giles on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the age of 91. Stan was a hard-working farmer at Red Deer Hill his whole life, retiring to Prince Albert in 1995. He enjoyed passing the time at Raider hockey games, curling (for some 50 years) and golfing. Stan is survived by his children Myrna (Art) Wright of Cloverdale, BC and their children Leanne (Heinz) Krauss and their daughter Carly McNeill, and Kathy (Dan) Fournier and their children Taylor and Sydney, Glenn (Judy) McMullen of Prince Albert, SK and their children Lynnel (Jeff) Reinson and their children Dane, Keaton and Ella, and Blake (Jenn) McMullen and their children Presley and Lincoln, Gayvin McMullen of Nanaimo, BC and his children Angie (Greg) Falk and their children Kent and Connor, and Cori Sarginson and her children Brandon and Zachary; his sister Phyllis Fowler; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Edith; his infant granddaughter Kimberley Ann McMullen; and his brothers Jim and Arnold Giles. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Deacon Eldon Danielson officiating.
