WELDON, EMMA T. - Emma T. Weldon, 91, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday evening, September 20, 2011. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Bonnevie) Marino. Emma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She attended the Moncton Wesleyan Church and was actively involved in the Deaf Ministry within the church for several years. She enjoyed sewing, was an active artist, reading hymns, making personalized cards for family and friends, socializing with her friends and spending quality time with her family. Emma will be sadly missed by her son, Larry of Moncton; daughters, Sheila of Taylors, South Carolina and Colleen Tegen (Tim) of Cary, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jeff Henderson, Naomi Hill, Alicia, Sarah and Joshua Tegan; great grandchildren, Rachel, Kate, Abbie, MacKenzie and Walker; beloved close friends as her own, Jordan, Kyle, Chelsey and baby Grayson; sister, Letha Bonnevie of Beaverbank, NS; brother, Phil Marino (Susan) of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack A. Weldon (August 24, 2008).
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road Moncton (858-1995), Thursday from 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Friday September 23, 2011 at 11:00am with Pastor Dale Thistle officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
