NICHOLS, CAROLYN - The death of Carolyn Theresa Nichols of Minto occurred Monday, September 19th, 2011 at Fredericton. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Monahan) Gallagher. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Carolyn is survived by her son, Peter Nichols of BC; her daughter, Frances Kajari (David Davies) of Fredericton; her two grandsons, Dylan Nichols and Kyle Kajari as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Nichols in 1991; three sisters, Marion Fearon, Doreen Curran and Sr. Irene Gallagher, four brothers, John, Bill, Frank and Nat.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB 327-3490) where visitation will be held from 9 AM up until service time. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. Father Paul Bebodu will officiate. Interment will follow in the Saint Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
