BUTLER, Pearl E.–Passed peacefully away at the Masonic Park Nursing Home on December 8, 2008, age 94 years. Predeceased by first husband, Elias Gosling (1936) and second husband, Volta (Bo) Butler (1982). Leaving to mourn her daughter, Alma Slade (William) and son Elias “Brud” Gosling (Norma). Also grandchildren Michael Slade (Jeanette), Rodney Slade (Debbie), Brian Slade (Julie), Lawrence Gosling (Beverly), Judy Flynn (Dennis), Allan Gosling (Debbie), Earl Gosling (Lisa), and thirteen great-grandchildren. Resting at Strathies Funeral Home, Bonavista, on December 9 and 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services to be held at the Anglican Church on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at 2 p.m. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Bonavista. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to a charity of choice or the Anglican Church, Bonavista, NL.
