ROGER WARDNER DEAN
March 31, 1946 - October 11, 2009
It is with regret that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and good friend, Roger Dean on October 11, 2009 at the young age of 63 years.
Roger leaves behind, his loving wife of 39 years, Velma, his daughter Carmen (Jason) Day, grandchildren: Ruby and Maddock, his father Alan (Kathleen), brother Jamie (Jan), his sister Jennifer (Ross) Blair, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Roger was predeceased by his mother Jean in 1998.
Roger was born and raised in Vancouver, he relocated to Kamloops from Richmond in 1995 and enjoyed everyday here in Kamloops; he loved what was offered here from the ski hill to the great golf courses. He was a proud member of Kamloops Masonic Lodge #10, Gizeh Shriner's and the Kamloops Shrine Motor Corps, he had always said that he loved to ride so that others could walk. Roger left us on the 13th fairway doing what he loved to do and he will be sadly missed by all those he knew and whose lives he had touched.
A Service to Celebrate Roger's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., October 25th, 2009 at the Rivershore Estates and Golf Links.
Family members request that any expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to the Shriners Patient Transportation Society c/o Gizeh Shriners, 3550 Wayburne Dr., Burnaby, BC, V5G 3K9
