Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 after a short but courageous battle with cancer, Edward Martin, age 60 years. Predeceased by his father Edward, brother Jerry and brother-in-law Walter Harvey. Leaving to mourn two sons: Matthew (mother Laura) and Gerry; his mother Bride; brothers: Jim Cooper (Bet) and John (Joan); sisters: Joan Harvey, Anna Fitzpatrick (Bren), Patricia Martin, Betty Smith (Paul) and special friend Naomi, as well as a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends especially the White family. Thank you to Dr. Gardiner and staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 6 pm – 9 p m and Friday, September 23 from 10 am – 9 p m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from St Patrick’s Church at 11:30 am with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr.
