At the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, of Lorne Keith Shaw of O’Leary, formerly of Cape Wolfe, aged 93, husband of Mary Winnifred “Winnie” (nee Reilly). Born in Haliburton on Jan. 3, 1916, son of the late Edward and Annie (Sinclair) Shaw. Cherished father of Lorna Shaw, Alberton, Keith (Shirley), Hamilton Ont., Audrey (George) Vey, Orono Ont., Phyllis (Dan) MacDonald, Charlottetown, Barb (Leo) MacDonald, O’Leary, Mary (Stewart) Gillcash, Glenwood, Arlene (Eddison) Dyment, Saint John, N.B. Loving grandfather of sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Brother of Gladys Shaw, Hamilton, Ont., Reagh (Glennis), O’Leary, Boyd, Maplewood Manor, and Gerald (Freda), O’Leary. Brother-in-law of Vera Shaw, B.C., Mae Wedge, Irma Allen, Rhoda (Frank) McCarville all of Hamilton, Ont., James (Janet) Reilly, Burton Lot 7, Eileen (Dale) McKenna, Elmsdale, Will Reilly, Halifax, N.S., and Howard Reilly, N.S. Marion Shaw, O’Leary. Predeceased by a grandson, Paul Shaw, brothers Reginald and Glen. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home, O’Leary, with visiting hours Sunday, 7 to 9, and Monday, 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. then to St. Marks Roman Catholic Church, Burton Lot 7, for Funeral Mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
