Passed away peacefully at his home in Barrie, Ont., on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, in his 74th year. Loving husband of Marjory (Gillan), father of Michael and his wife Cathryn, Neil and his wife Natalie, stepfather to Andrea Brand and her husband Tim. Loving grandfather to Maxwell, James, Joseph and Michaella. Born in Manchester, England, and raised and educated in Glasgow, Scotland. Paul came to Canada in 1959 and returned to Scotland two years later. In 1969 he returned to Canada. After a successful career in marketing, Paul and Marjory moved to Barrie with friends and family. Paul enjoyed his sailboat, driving his MGA sports car and listening to his jazz music. Funeral mass was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Barrie on Saturday, Sept. 10. Interment will be in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown, on Oct. 8, 2011.
