Eileen G. O’Hanley
Eileen G. O’Hanley, 90, Timberlea, passed away September 21, 2011, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in O’Leary, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late Artamus and Annie (MacIsaac) Lecky. She is survived by her children, Gerald (Audrey), Earl, Sheila (Ryan) (George) MacNeil, Charles (Liz), Anita (Ken) Walker; sisters Emma Blades, Theresa Bolger; brother, Harry Lecky; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, John (1969); son, Daniel (1981); granddaughter Alanna Ryan (1986); grandson Scott O’Hanley (2008); daughter-in-law Noreen (1999), brothers William and Albert; sisters Ruth Rochon, and Hazel in infancy. Visitation will take place 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish (Sacred Heart), Timberlea. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society.
