It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rebecca Ann Parsons announces her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday September 22, 2011 at the age of 61 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband Daniel Parsons of 42 years, sons Terry (Lori), Todd (Shelley), Tony (Violet), David (friend Tracey), grandson T.J, and mother Nina Durnford (friend Jim), brothers Roland, Sam (Maggie), John (Helen), sister Eleanor (friend Calvin), special nieces Nina and Laura Young, also a large circle of aunts, uncle’s nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by father John Durnford, brothers: Stanley, Donald, Calvin, and sister Laura Young. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Sunday September 25, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2 P.M. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
