WILSON, ELIZABETH - Mrs. Elizabeth Jacqueline Wilson, wife of the late David Wilson, of Saint John, formally of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, September 21 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 59. The daughter of John and Glendon Newman, Jacqueline was a homemaker and a member of the Anglican Church. Jacqueline is survived by her children: 2 daughters, Carrie Noiles (Blennas) of Saint John, NB and Natalie Ling (Matt) of Charlottetown, PE, 1 step-daughter, Andrea Wilson (Cory Despres) of Miramichi, NB, and 2 step-sons, Jeff Wilson (Julie) of Miramichi, NB and Trevor Wilson (Valerie) of Miramichi, NB. As well, her sister, Jeannie Newman of Miramichi, NB and her 3 brothers, John of Miramichi, NB, Robert (Melva) of Miramichi, NB and Richard of Miramichi, NB. In addition, 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Katia, Taryn and Bryce and 3 step-grandchildren, Wilson Despres, and Jenna and Davey Wilson. She is pre-deceased by her parents and her husband.
Jacqueline is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Highway, with visitation on Monday, September 26 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at 11am at St Andrew's Anglican Church, with the Venerable Richard Steeves officiating. Burial will follow in Miramichi Cemetery. In Jacqueline's memory, donations to Read Saint John or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
