It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Anderson announces her passing in the Palliative care Unit in the Western Memorial Hospital on Saturday September 24, 2011 at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 68 years Joseph of Corner Brook Long Term Care, 11 children Jim (Leslie Oke) of St. John’s, Mary Brown of Corner Brook, Louise Osmond (Wallace) of St. Ampden, Lew (Rose) of Pasadena, Russ (Shelley Collins), Ina Gardiner (Vern) of Alberta, Iris Brett (Bob) of Ontario, Jane (Tony Benoit) of Black Duck Brook, and Joe of Montreal, 3 sisters Jane Noel (Howard), Margerite Kitchner (Robert) of Powell River B.C., Shirley Gale (Wally) of South Branch, also 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her 2 sons Wayne (1990), Eric (2010), 3 grandchildren Stephen Brown (1999), Clayton Brown (2011), Llewellyn (2010) and her sister Ina Jones. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Monday September 26, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will take place at the All Saints Anglican Church 44 Clarence Street on Tuesday September 27, 2011 at 2 P.M. with reverend Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donation can be made to the All Saints Anglican Church Fund.
