(September 15, 1928 - September 23, 2011). Passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Hospital following a brief illness and with her family by her side, Eileen Mary Gibbons, of St. Vincent’s, SMB., aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Ronnie, sisters Almena and Marg, brothers Neil and Arnold and daughter- in-law Helen. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her nine children: Art (Judy), Don (Louise), Andy, Doris (Bill), Allan (Judy), Ron, Yvonne (Randy), Diane, David (Kim); grandchildren: Shawn, Craig, Scott, Jennifer, Frank, Brian, Dwayne, Cassandra, Travis, Kendall, Trevor, Jessica, Jenna, Devin, Brooklyn and Braedyn; great-grandchildren: Liam, Luke, Drew, Sophia, William, Oliver, Madison, and Isabella; sisters: Alice, Betty, Linda and Marilyn, brothers Shea and Brian, sisters-in-law Rita Critch and Monica Moriarity, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Eileen will be also sadly missed by all who knew her and for her open door hospitality and endless generosity. A special thank you is extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of 7 East, St.Clare’s Mercy Hospital for providing such great care. Resting at Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent’s, on Sunday, September 25, from 4 - 9pm, Monday, September 26, 1 - 9pm and Tuesday, September 27, 10am – 12pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, at 2pm, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Burial to follow at St. Vincent’s.
